Terms of use
Last updated 18 October 2026
These terms are between you and Didge Group Pty Ltd, trading as Didge Life ("Didge", "we" and "us"). They cover this website and the Didge app. They are written in plain words.
What Didge is
Didge is an app for collecting moments at real places and minting them as keepsakes. A moment holds your selfie, the view and a pin where you stood, and it lands in your Story as a receipt. You choose the charities that receive part of what you pay.
This website and the list
Didge is not open yet. On this website you can join a list to be emailed when Didge opens near you. Joining means you agree to launch emails from Didge, and nothing more. It does not create an account, and it does not commit you to buy anything. How we handle your email address is in our privacy policy.
Your account and your age
You must be 16 or over to have a Didge account. At sign-up you tick a box to say you are 16 or over. We record that you ticked it, when, and which version of these terms was in force. We do not ask for your date of birth. We may close an account if we learn that its holder is under 16.
You sign in with your email address and a password, and you confirm your address by a link. Keep your password to yourself and do not let anyone else use your account. Each person may hold one account.
Paying
You choose what to pay for a moment. Black and white moments are free, within the daily limit shown in the app, and colour starts at $2.50. Prices are in Australian dollars. Payments go through Stripe, and the receipt comes from them.
A payment to Didge is a purchase. It is not a donation, a gift or a contribution to a charity from you. Payments are not tax deductible, and you will not receive a tax deduction receipt for them.
The charity share
At least 50% of the price paid is pledged to the charities you chose.
You choose your charities of choice, one or several, and how your share is split between them. Didge never chooses for you. At launch they are Australian registered charities with deductible gift recipient status. A charity named in Didge has not chosen Didge and does not endorse it.
Moments are memories, not investments
A moment is a keepsake: a memory, and a receipt of where you stood. It is not an investment, it cannot be resold, and it is not worth more later. Do not buy one expecting it to make money.
Your photos
Your photos are yours. You let Didge store them and show them to you, and to the people you choose to share them with, so that the app can work. Do not take or share a photo of someone who asks you not to, or of anywhere private. If you see a photo that should not be there, tell us at hello@didgelife.com. Anyone can ask us to take a photo down, whether or not they have an account.
Using Didge properly
Do not break into, probe or overload Didge. Do not pretend to be someone else, or use another person's account. Do not use Didge for anything unlawful.
Ending your account
You can close your account from your Profile. We may suspend or close an account if its holder breaches these terms, if the law requires it, or if we learn that its holder is under 16. Where we can, we tell you first. We keep the records the law requires us to keep.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. Each version has its own date and is published in full. We email you before a change takes effect, and where a change materially affects you we give you at least 30 days' notice. If you do not want to accept a change, you can close your account before it takes effect.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or under any other law, that cannot be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Western Australia, and the courts of Western Australia can hear disputes about them. This does not take away any right you have under a law that applies where you live and cannot be excluded.
